Katerina Andrikopoulou is an educator and play therapist with a deep love and respect for the child's inner world. She completed her studies in Primary Education at the University of Crete and subsequently obtained a Master's Degree in School Psychology from the University of Glasgow..

..Upon her return to Greece, she continued to support children with emotional and learning difficulties through her collaboration with specialised centres. Since 2014, she has been working with a private practice, where she provides her services to children and families with sensitivity, empathy, and respect for the unique needs of each child.

She deeply believes that play is the natural language of the child, and through it, the path to understanding, healing, and empowerment can be found.

..In 2009, she specialised in Play Therapy through PTUK and Canterbury Christ Church University. She is a certified play therapist and a member of the Association of Dramatherapists and Playtherapists of Greece (EDPE) as well as Play Therapy International (PTI). She has completed numerous additional trainings, including Story Play, Filial Play Coaching, and Circle of Security, through Play Therapy Greece.

She is currently completing her studies in Applied Psychology at the University of Essex, with the aim of bringing a more comprehensive and rounded approach to her work.

Her career in the field began in East London, where she initially worked as a primary school teacher. There she created the first Playroom – a safe and protected space for expression, where children could communicate through play the things they were unable to put into words. She later collaborated with schools in the area, providing play therapy services, and also worked at the MOSAC centre, supporting children who had experienced sexual abuse..
